Took the kids along it was just a really relaxed day. The staff were lovely too, especially when we clearly looked a bit lost. There was plenty of space for the little ones to wander about without me feeling stressed the whole time. Just a nice, simple spot for a family visit.

I was impressed with how smoothly everything went. Events like this are usually a mess with confusing signs and endless queues, but this one was really well organised. The signs were easy to follow, the staff were quick to help, and the lines moved way faster than I expected.

I went to Somerset House last weekend and felt so pleasantly surprised by how clean and cared for everything was. The toilets were tidy, there wasn’t mess everywhere, and the main areas had that calm, well-looked-after feeling that makes a visit so much more enjoyable.
The facilities were really easy to find, and it was such a relief to have enough space to sit down and take a breather. We did get a bit turned around at one point, but the staff were kind and pointed us in the right direction. It ended up being a really lovely visit, and I’d happily go back

I went to Somerset House and expected the queue to be a bit of a hassle, but it moved so quickly!! The staff made it really clear where everyone needed to stand, so it never felt chaotic even though it was busy. Such an easy, stress-free start to the visit

Stopped in for a coffee and a snack, and it was a good experience overall. The drinks were nice, and the food was decent enough for a quick bite. Nothing over the top, but it did the job. The staff seemed to be doing their best too, so a little patience and kindness goes a long way.

It was super easy to get there. The place has great transport links, so getting around wasn’t a hassle at all

It’s a nice place, and maybe I’m being a little picky, but the prices felt kind of high for what you actually get. I did enjoy parts of it, but I kept wondering if it was really worth the money

I had a really nice time at the exhibition. There was a lot to see, and everything was put together really well. I did find myself wondering if I’d missed a few details because there was so much to take in, but overall I definitely enjoyed it.

The place had a nice vibe overall, but it was a bit crowded, so it didn’t feel as relaxing as it probably would on a quieter day.

It’s a lovely old building and definitely nice to look at, especially from the outside. For me though, the visit felt a little underwhelming. If you’re just passing by or enjoy architecture, it’s worth a quick stop. But if you’re hoping for a deeper dive into the history or design of the place, there isn’t a whole lot to take in

I went on the weekend it was way too crowded to enjoy. It felt like a lot of effort just to move around, let alone actually stop and look at anything. People were constantly pushing past, the lines were long, and I ended up feeling more tired and stressed than anything. I’m sure it could be a nice place on a quieter day, but the crowd made the whole visit feel like a chore

The site looks nice overall, but the accessibility felt a bit hit or miss to me. Using the keyboard was mostly fine, but a few menus were not as smooth as they could be, and some of the contrast made things harder to read than expected. I did find the information I needed in the end, but it took longer than it should have.

Booked my tickets on somersethouse.org.uk and it was easy. Dates and times was clear, payment went through without any trouble, and the email came through right away. I liked that I didn’t have to make an account or keep clicking around loads. All went smooth really, I’d use it again
